What is brow lamination?
A chemical process that softens and restructures the brow hairs so they can be set in a lifted, uniform direction. It makes sparse brows read fuller and unruly brows lie flat. Lasts up to eight weeks.
Lamination or permanent makeup?
Lamination reshapes the hair you already have and washes out over time. Permanent makeup places pigment in the skin to create shape and density where hair is missing. If your brows are full but unruly, laminate. If they are sparse or uneven, PMU is the better answer.
How often can I laminate?
Every six to eight weeks at most. Lamination is a chemical process and over-treating causes brittleness. We will tell you if you need to wait.
What is the difference between brow tint and hybrid tint?
Standard tint colors the brow hairs only. Hybrid tint stains both the hair and the skin underneath, giving a soft-filled look closer to makeup. Hybrid lasts longer on the skin than traditional tint.
How do I prepare?
Come with clean brows and no makeup. Avoid retinol and exfoliating acids around the brow area for a few days beforehand, and let the hair grow in for at least two weeks before a shaping appointment.
