Two appointments at minimum. The first establishes placement, color, and dimension. The second, four to six weeks later, corrects what the skin did while healing. Reconstructed tissue does not hold pigment the way undamaged skin does, so the second pass is part of the work. Radiated tissue often needs a third, and tissue must be fully healed with surgeon clearance before starting. Most clients report little sensation, because reconstructed tissue is often numb after surgery.

Some plans cover nipple and areola reconstruction after mastectomy, and in certain cases that extends to tattooing. Coverage varies and we cannot advise on it, so contact your insurer and confirm your own coverage before booking. An itemized receipt is available on request, but any reimbursement is between you and your plan.

Keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection. No sweating, sun, makeup, or skincare. A vitamin ointment is applied during your service and left on before you leave. After 24 hours, clean with water and pat dry, never rubbing. Vaseline for dryness only, once the scab has formed. Results settle over several weeks.
